Can I change my registered nickname?

Yes, you can. All your settings, entries in your friends list, rights, etc. remain unchanged. But please note that you need to be a VIP to be able to use this feature, and you can change your nickname again after 2 months time, so consider your change carefully. Your changed nickname will not change when your VIP membership ends.

To actually change your nickname, log in, go to the subnavigation on the start page, click on "Preferences", "General". In section "Registration" click on the link "->Change your nickname". Enter the necessary data and confirm by clicking on the button "Submit". You will be asked to confirm whether you really want to change your nickname. Confirm by clicking on the "OK" button. You will be shown a message which says that your nickname was changed and you are asked to click on the "OK" button to log out. Click on the "OK" button to log out.
Next time log in with your new nickname, the old one does not exist anymore.
