How do I change the email address my nickname is registered to?

In case you have a new email address, you should use it in this community, too.
Be sure that the email address your nickname is registered to is always valid and that you fully control this email account as we cannot send you a new password in case you once forgot yours.

To actually change your email address, log in, go to the subnavigation on the start page, click on "Preferences", "General". In section "Registration" click on the button "Change email". Enter the necessary data and confirm by clicking on the button "Change email". You will be shown a message which says that you will get an email which contains further information.
This email contains a URL which you either have to click on or enter in your browser. Doing so you confirm your request to change your email address.
After the click or after having entered it in your browser, you will be shown a message which confirms that your email has been changed successfully.

In case you do not react accordingly within the first 6 days after the email's receipt the email address your nickname is registered to will remain unchanged.
