I am looking for somebody to chat with.

In case you are having nobody to chat with, in the navigation under "People" you will find a list of users who are searching for a chat partner as well. By clicking on a nickname you are interested in, you will get displayed the chatter's user profile.
If you want to chat with him/her, you can easily do so by clicking on the button "Open dialogue" and open a private talk to that user.

If you want to appear on this list yourself, you can easily do so by clicking on the button "Add to list". The listing is temporary; it lasts as long as you are logged in to the chat. So, if you want to stay on the list for a longer period, you have to sign up again after the login.
