26 Apr 2012 14:57 Bayern München or Chelsea??which one will win the cup?? |
26 Apr 2012 15:53 ReI would slightly favor Bayern Munich at this moment. In terms of player availability, location of final and current domestic performances, all logic suggests Bayern Munich. But Chelsea have found a new togetherness since the departure of AVB, and have become quite adept at grinding out results, and hence they can't be discounted. |
26 Apr 2012 16:19 no oneno one outside of small sections of europe will even watch or care which team wins. but since i am a huge fan of bayern munich i say they will win. they have the nicest stadium. |
26 Apr 2012 17:26 Re> no one outside of small sections of europe will even watch I think you'll find you're wrong there. Read below. "The competition attracts an extensive television audience, not just in Europe, but throughout the world. The matches are broadcast in over 70 countries with commentaries in more than 40 languages each year. With an estimated audience of 109 million people, the 2009 Champions League final surpassed that year's Super Bowl (106 million viewers) for the first time as the most-watched annual single sport event in the world." And at this point, there really is no telling who will win. If Chelsea can beat Real Madrid, why should it not be possible that they beat Bayern München? Personally, I'd like the side to win that fights for it the most passionately and/or plays the more attractive football. |
26 Apr 2012 17:56 Not MadridChelsea beat the other detestable impotent team that shall not be named. |
26 Apr 2012 19:03 reply to "no one"i couldnt understand why you wrote such a nonsense reply but this is the world's biggest football association. And be sure that even the people who even cannot show where München is geographically, are waiting for this match and im sure they have one favourite team in their minds. so while writing something dont forget that you are not the only person over this world. As we all see in the stadiums "RESPECT" :) |

26 Apr 2012 23:45 reCalm down missy, I just found it funny because you are not the only girl to confuse Barça with Real today. Snappy, rawr. |
27 Apr 2012 07:20 And that is exactlywhy I got 'snappy'. It had nothing to do with me being a 'girl' or actually being in any sort of confusion that the two are different teams. It was an honest mistake that could just as well have happened to a male person and then nobody would feel the need to snicker and go 'oh men'. If I have one pet peeve it is male condescension, as you well know and I don't think it suits you very well. |
27 Apr 2012 14:50 ChelseaOnly because with me being a mad Dortmund fan, i couldnt stand to see bayern win. Would be nice to see Torres get on the score sheet again. |
27 Apr 2012 15:08 reLast time that Barça got knocked out was against Internazionale under Mourinho's anti-football team. They deployed the exact same strategy; 11 defenders and counters. Sorry but that is just not worth watching, hence I hope Bayern will defeat Chelsea. Any team that plays like that is shitty in my opinion. |
27 Apr 2012 15:10 re*sighs*, very well. Didn't expect you to take it THAT seriously. |
27 Apr 2012 15:18 You did not?I've always taken this latent kind of condescenscion seriously, because it's still acceptable and accepted in large parts of society. |
27 Apr 2012 20:58 reTake this shite to another boards, no women talk here. It is a SOCCER thread ffs. Chelsea it is, I just don't like german soccer teams :) |
28 Apr 2012 00:04 I think...I really think if Real had played their touchdowns the way they did their field goals, they should have gone through. Wrong sport? Somebody tell Sergio Ramos! Seriously though, I'm not known as a particular friend of Bayern, but hey, it's special, isn't it, and my own side has already notched a trophy this year. So Bayern it is for me. I like their chances. |
