I noticed when paying by credit card the web address did not seem to switch to secure http (i.e. "https"). Am I mistaken or is there some other security in place for the credit card information?

Payment is secured by using https, you just don't see it in the browser, as spinchat.com has to use frames due to technical reasons. As the outer frame stays http, you won't see it.

You can confirm it by the way if you simply right-click in the lower area and open the payment system in a new frame.
