read that trilogy, was given to me as a present once and totally got me hooked on the story. The movie disappointed me though.

Totally agree, I was told to read the trilogy and really enjoyed it, the movie however, completely sucked.

They changed the ending completely =( People would look at me while leaving the cinema since I'd keep complaining about them ruining a good story, well.. firts part of a story -_-
