21 May 2012 21:22 re:I'm confused as to why you would want to indiscriminately participate in random religious chats/forums unless you simply plan to TROLL them. If you want to gain a better perspective about different religions, you should go to the library. You can also get almost any "holy book" sent to your house absolutely free. (you just have to Google for it) If you are looking to participate in a specific religion's forum then you should specify which one. |
21 May 2012 22:40 Re:I dont think there was any need for your rudeness towards this person. She asked a question about religion on a religion forum, its really that simple. You are the one who trolled this thread. |
22 May 2012 00:15 I know one or two :-)I know of one on a chat program called PalTalk. You can find it by going here: View all the rooms available If you have difficulty finding it add the owner of the group and ask him. His name is: Saved2Seek |
22 May 2012 06:05 tythanx heaps! i'll check it out =) |
22 May 2012 06:34 i wudnt...go visit a site to troll ppl no matter wat kinda site it is cause thats just sad and i dont get why u wud just assume that one wud go on site to troll. just because one wants to check out an online religion doesnt necessarily mean they are there to troll, perhaps they have just taken up an interest in online religion. if i wanted to find a holy book or find perspective about different religions from a library then i wudnt ask for an online religion. |
22 May 2012 07:02 I find your use ofthe words 'online religion' a bit confusing. You make it sound as though that's a distinct religion from those that are 'offline' when really, you are just looking for an online forum for any of the religions that already exist. And yes, in that case, google is your friend. I entered 'religious chat' and 'religious forum' into Google and got a host of sites. This took me about two seconds and you would have gotten the same result with the same small amount of effort. |
22 May 2012 11:49 Again> And yes, in that case, google is your friend. I entered Another post that is demanding. The girl asked if anyone here on this forum/site knows of any good religious forums/sites. How bloody hard is it to see that and just answer the question or leave yourself out of the thread people? Has this forum /site got that bad that a new comer cant even ask a question anymore without being ridiculed? Ffs |
22 May 2012 12:51 reshe's not being ridiculed, its a legitimate answer. Google in fact, would most likely render |
22 May 2012 12:58 Dont tell meyour as silly as the rest here too :/ The girl was asking us for our thoughts on web sites/forums about good religious content. Since when does Google tell you its a good site/forum???? Far out Brussel sprout! |
22 May 2012 17:04 re:How did I troll, breena? I simply said the question was confusing, vague and I couldn't imagine a purpose for seeking out online religious forums indiscriminately. If the question was about a specific religion's forum, it would make more sense. I also gave advise on where to obtain reliable info about religion in case the person was interested such things. Perhaps I've been overly polite in the past and a comment said with frankness shocked you, but regardless, it wasn't meant to be "rude". |
22 May 2012 17:43 reNobody has ridiculed her, though this post would fit Off-topic better than a forum meant for discussion on 'Politics / Society / Religion'. Just because the title of this board has 'religion' in it, shouldn't give you the idea that /any piece of text/ with this word in it fits here. Plus, people should just get used to getting these kinds of answers on the interbuttz. |
