all the major religions and cults have online sites, chats and forums.

theres also this amazing invention called GOOGLE. perhaps you should ask

there is such thing as google, if i didnt then i wud be living under a rock or in a cave. wats wrong wif asking here anyway? i asked that question because i was wondering if anyone visits an online religion site that is good and can recommend me to visit it. i didnt ask can sumone find out an online religion for me.

I'm confused as to why you would want to indiscriminately participate in random religious chats/forums unless you simply plan to TROLL them.

If you want to gain a better perspective about different religions, you should go to the library. You can also get almost any "holy book" sent to your house absolutely free. (you just have to Google for it)

If you are looking to participate in a specific religion's forum then you should specify which one.

go visit a site to troll ppl no matter wat kinda site it is cause thats just sad and i dont get why u wud just assume that one wud go on site to troll. just because one wants to check out an online religion doesnt necessarily mean they are there to troll, perhaps they have just taken up an interest in online religion. if i wanted to find a holy book or find perspective about different religions from a library then i wudnt ask for an online religion.
ok so why am i interested in an online religion?
well its definitely not to troll. i want to participate in one so that i can sociologically observe wats going on and write a report on it.
as to wat specific religion well im not actually lookin for anything specific. the religion can be from a traditional group, hyper-real or new religious group but it has to be online.

the words 'online religion' a bit confusing. You make it sound as though that's a distinct religion from those that are 'offline' when really, you are just looking for an online forum for any of the religions that already exist.

And yes, in that case, google is your friend. I entered 'religious chat' and 'religious forum' into Google and got a host of sites. This took me about two seconds and you would have gotten the same result with the same small amount of effort.

she's not being ridiculed, its a legitimate answer. Google in fact, would most likely render

I simply said the question was confusing, vague and I couldn't imagine a purpose for seeking out online religious forums indiscriminately. If the question was about a specific religion's forum, it would make more sense.

I also gave advise on where to obtain reliable info about religion in case the person was interested such things.

Perhaps I've been overly polite in the past and a comment said with frankness shocked you, but regardless, it wasn't meant to be "rude".

Nobody has ridiculed her, though this post would fit Off-topic better than a forum meant for discussion on 'Politics / Society / Religion'. Just because the title of this board has 'religion' in it, shouldn't give you the idea that /any piece of text/ with this word in it fits here.

Plus, people should just get used to getting these kinds of answers on the interbuttz.
