Commands and text commands
Within the room or dialogue windows as well as partly within the status message windows, you can use the following commands:
/s search term - to use the search directly
/join room name - to enter a room directly without a detour via the room list
/board - to jump directly to the current room's board
/close - to close the current dialogue-/chat room window
/me text - to send a so-called "emote"; something you do yourself
(Example: /me is going shopping | in the chat the following message appears: "your_nickname is going shopping")
/ooc text - to describe/mark an event/; something that happens
(Example: /ooc the supermarket is closing | in the chat the following message appears: "your_nickname [the supermarket is closing]")
/echo text - also to describe/mark an event/; something that happens
(Example: /echo the supermarket is closing | in the chat the following message appears: "* the supermarket is closing (your_nickname)")
/think text - to describe what you are momentarily thinking about
(Example: /think I should quickly go shopping! | in the chat the following message appears: "your_nickname .oO( I should quickly go shopping! )")
/away explanatory text - to send everybody in the room or dialogue addressing you automatically a message that (and why) you are away.
/away - to deactivate the away-mode again; simply execute the command "/away" without an explanatory text
Special commands to display person profiles and dialogues
/msg nickname text - to send a person a private message/to open a private dialogue
The following commands can also be "abbreviated" within a dialogue by simply
omitting the username. Then your dialogue partner's profile will be displayed.
/whois nickname - to view a person's profile
/gift nickname - to give a person a gift
/mail nickname - to write a person a chatmail
/invite - to invite your dialogue partner to a currently running game
/g search term - to google a search term
/y search term - to search for a term in Yahoo!
Operators can additionally use the following commands within room or dialogue windows as well as partly within the status message windows:
/warn nickname - to warn a person by means of a standardized message
/warn nickname text - to warn a person by means of a standardized message with an individual warning/individual information enclosed
/kick nickname - to kick a person out of a room (abbreviation: /k nickname)
/kickban nickname - to kick a person out of a room for a longer period of time(abbreviation: /kb nickname)
/banlist - to display the list of blocked persons
/unban nickban - to release a person blocked by "/kickban"
(Tip: In order to remove all bans, you can simply enter /unban *)
/mute Nickname - to "mute" a person in the room, i.e. the person will no longer be able to say anything
/unmute nickname - to deactivate a person's "muting"
/op nickname - to grant a person op-rights
/deop nickname - to deprive a person of his/her op-rights
