Spiffel
Aim of the game
In 13 dicing rounds with a maximum of three throws per round collect points via certain combinations and enter them into the game pad.
Preparing the game
After having opened the game click on "Join Game". In case you are the opener of the game, click on "Start Game" afterwards.
One dices via the button "roll!".
Dicing
One game comprises 13 dicing rounds. Per round one dices three times with five dices. After the third throw of each round at the latest one has to enter the points into the game pad.
Combining
After each throw one can decide which dice one keeps and with which dice one wants to dice again to enhance the result. In case one is satisfied with the first throw, one can enter one's points right away and does not have to throw on even if one still had the right to.
The dices one wants to keep are marked on top of the game pad by clicking once on the corresponding dice/s. Afterwards click "roll!" again. To unmark a dice because e.g. the collecting strategy for this dicing round has changed, just click once on that dice.
Entering points
To do that just click on the corresponding button, e.g. on "3s" to count all 3s dices. All categories in which you can enter points are recognisable by the darker colour of the button. The categories count as follows:
"1s" to "6s":
One counts dice eyes with the same number, e.g. all "3s". In case one throws three "3s" e.g., one gets a total of 9 points in the field "3s".
Bonus:
In case one accomplishs 63 or more points in the upper zone of the game pad (1s to 6s), one automatically gets a bonus of 35 points. So it pays off to throw as many 3s, 4s, 5s as possible.
Three of a kind
One counts all dice eyes provided that three dices show the same eye number.
Four of a kind
One counts all dice eyes provided that four dices show the same eye number.
Fullhouse
One gets 25 points provided that one has three identical dice eyes of a number and two identical dice eyes of another number, e.g. three "3s" and two "5s".
Small Straight:
One gets 30 points provided that one has four dices with successive dice eyes, e.g. "1", "2", "3", "4" or "2", "3", "4", "5".
Large Straight:
One gets 40 points provided that one has all dices with successive dice eyes, e.g. "1", "2", "3", "4", "5".
Spiffel:
One gets 50 points provided that all dices show the same dice eyes, e.g. five "3s".
In case one throws a second Spiffel, one can either enter it in the upper zone of "1s" to "6s" or in a corresponding field of the lower zone and gets 100 auxiliary points in addition to the full points of the category. The auxiliary points are added to the current end result after the game is finished.
Further Spiffels will not get oneself auxiliary points and can only be entered into matching categories of the upper resp. lower zone.
Chance:
One counts all dice eyes. One can use the chance to count at least the dice eyes of a throw, in case it does not match to anything else.
Striking out:
In case a throw does not match to any category or one wants "to keep" a category for stetegic reasons, one can "strike out" one of the other categories left. Of course then one does not get any points for that throw. To strike out a category, just click on the corresponding button. "XXX" will be entered automatically.
Final result
After finishing the 13 dicing rounds the final result will be displayed on the game pad below at "Grand Total". The final result is made up of the regular end result and possible auxiliary points of a second Spiffel.
Winning
The player with the highes final result is the winner.
