wow, i'm walking on clouds

First, a couple months ago I get an email from the girl I dated in high school. The last time I saw her was in 1988. We lost touch then after I joined the Navy and I've always wondered where she was and how she was doing. She found me through classmates.com. Since then we've exchanged serveral emails and provided some closure for her. I had a wonderful dinner with her family last month.

Last weekend, the girl I dated in College finally came to participate on the Annual Randall Road Rally that I hold every year. She lives in Minnesota and the last one she was on was in 1990. We keep in touch with a phone call here and there. Probably 2 a year. But it was great seeing her again.

But to top it all off, my good friend from High School called yesterday. I haven't seen him since his second wedding. I was the Best Man in his first wedding I think that was in 1983. He was to be in my wedding in 1988 but his wife was pregnant and went into labor that day. I believe she was born an hour before we exchanged our vows. His daughter is named Chelsea Renee. When we were deciding on a name for our daughter, we decided on Renee by coincidence, but was stumped for a middle name. Renee Chelsea kept coming into our heads. We asked Phil if he would mind. He didn't. Our daughter thinks its really cool.

There's nothing like finding an old lost friend.

I'm just ecstatic!
