I've decided that more offline history of me should be told, as well to take out the unrelated handle stories maybe in hopes of adding the to a future issue. rules had to be modified to the popular opinion.But all in all those whom have the 1st draft be lucky that's a collector's issue]

History Of The Elder Of ICE And ICE's History Surrounding Him

Micheal was an unusual, quiet kid whom kept to himself all through out his youthfulness. Being closely guarded by his mother, Micheal had little or no friends. His mostly occupied military father, his sister, and mom were his only society until they moved to Albuquerque. This is where he met his first and only true friend up until that time. Vincent, whom now goes by Skippy in ICE, witnessed him to the Lord, and Micheal finally found his purpose rather than living. Micheal will always consider Albuquerque his hometown, for his good time he spent there. Which is why he moved back when he graduated in 1995 from a high school in Rome, New York. The others in his family followed their last orders to go to the panhandle of Florida. After some heavy convincement, Micheal felt forced to move back to his family in Florida. Where he met dad's new computer.

Micheal's familiarity with computers made him feel comfortable in the computer room. He soon was given permission to use the net on the exception that he wouldn't go to any chat rooms(for some odd reason). Micheal being nineteen, first connected to the net. Which he first used opened a browser and awaited it to load it's programmed auto start page. Then the homepage of the Internet Service Provider his dad was helping out as webmaster at loaded up. The first words in the boxes that were loading that his eyes laid rest on the words
'Chat Links'. He quickly ignored what his dad warned him of entering
chats and as soon was alone went back to the link and clicked and choose out of the few choices of possible chats that caught his eyes with the words,'Internet Chat Exchange". He finally saw the JAVA classes fully load in and a login screen appeared asking for a handle.

Holding a bottle of his most sacred soda he chose to be forever be known has JOltMAn. He appeared in the new world of ICE in a place called Welcome!, with him were two others named Warp and Paul. They spoke to each other in a familiar language that he learned 3 years in high school. He began talking to them and found that they also spoke English just as well. JOltMAn was a guy that saw this place a to make a foothold because of his instant love he attached with it. In the first 30 minutes he learned that the chat was run by a server owned by a communications group in Germany named SPiN. Within the first hour a few people came in and then left as soon they came. JOltMAn used enthusiastic hello's in greetings to them to only notice they were gone before they saw the message. After more talking with Warp, he learned that Paul Owned the server while Warp created the very program for the chat. JOltMAn, that moment on referred to Warp, the chat administrator as the god of ICE. Later that same Afeternoon, Joltman met Jash, another SPiN staff member, who took of the credit of the creation of the 'guessbook' of SPiN's.

For the first week, Joltman became one of the few who stayed at ICE more than 2 minutes at a time and learned to perform silly antics to make the people stay on the channel Welcome! and even got them involved. By the end of the week he met some other People who found ICE in similiar ways and persuaded them to stay. He took it upon himself to refer to himself as a public relations person for SPiN, in which he gave all the info on how the chat was made and showed other newbies such as myself all the ropes.

Soon JOltMAn found that he had a fan who like to use JOltMAn's name too, then also found he didn't help otheres out,but just gave repetitive vulgar text in annoyingly eye blurring pattern. He then decided to consider him an enemy to SPiN in the fact he's spreading vulgar stuff and talking to my friends in ways to make him look bad. JOltMAn then soon remembered Warp's email and gave him a letter of telling him how some chat programs offer passwords to keep a certain handle(s) protected from use by others. JOltMAn while waiting for Warp to give a suggestion got together all the friends he made that week and had them join together and retaliated the soon surprised Chat Terrorist with privately flamed scrolling...that got him/her for the time being.

That next evening ,Warp was in the chat and asked JOltMAn to give him a password to use. JOltMAn quickly chose to give him the password, SHADOW, which he used most frequently in one of his unique phrases at the time. When JOltMAn had to deal with a threat of a scroller and he chose to start retaliating against a scroller, he would note to his friends to help by stating..."JOltMAn goes into the corner and speaks to his SHADOW." Then , "JOltMAn would Laugh with a shimmering BOOM" to end the round of attack. JOltMAn was sure everyone knew that was his technique with ICE's "army".Sometimes JOltMAn would use the handle 'SHADOW' or Ouija when in avoidance of uneccary unprepared combat.

With the new password ,JOltMAn, was from then on, was further known as Joltman, and soon found out that more than a password was given to him when he saw the op functions in the Royal client become usable by only him. Joltman soon got with Warp and they discussed the few things that he would only need to use such power on. With the sudden boost of defense that he could provide for the People of ICE and ICE's army to op on times of crisis ,combined with his tactics and leadership over his comrades, Joltman soon was forced to call himself the Leader of ICE.

The server grew a little to allow the the population of ICE to grow a little. some people found WElcome! still a nice place to hang out, but seeked other channels to use as 'private' channels. Joltman's dad, who became suddenly interested in his son's new hobby, became one of the newer people of daily chatters. He saw that the restlessness was bad and saw the need for more ops when Joltman wasn't around was much needed. and without further ado, Warp asked me which people he should add to the force of ops in Welcome! He gave ~20 people off the bat that made great comrades and good soldiers in ICE's Army, Warp also had a few people on his mind to add, and then like over night , around 30 people was opped overnight to much everyone's dismay half of the opped handles abused their power and was soon dismissed. Since then Joltman was more careful on choosing people to join ICE's Army, many people was angered by the Mass Opping, including Joltman.

The people then tired of Welcome! wanted more. Joltman's dad to be the first asked Warp to creat a channel dedicated to Poetry, Jokes and stories. Which soon became the Ogre's_Den which was the new hot spot for a long time, other channels to develop at the time was music and a couple of other community chats that soon found to be unpopulated. The majority of the Army , Joltman, and some others were talking of all making a room where people who had been here longer than most and use ICE more often could make a room dedicated to them.
and all the regulars would be ops in that room. Which soon became reality and then was always a good meeting place for the Leader of ICE and it's Army to gather together.
