Christmas of 96 soon came and Ogre and Joltman agreed to both take the week from Christmas Eve to the day after Newyears's away from the net to keep the family together during the holiday, which i'm sure most other ops and regulars also did. When Joltman returned he was greeted by war which his Army failed to back him up on. The server expanded for the first time after the Mass Opping. Joltman noticed that the default channel, Welcome!, was in Great Chaos. If he had only kept his normal chatting/monitoring schedule for a day or two before the expansion or was mentioned to about it , he could have been very useful in teaching the New Batch that ICE was a server enforced rules on their privately owned chat program. With this sudden loss of the once, nice and clean place to chat among friends, Joltman searched for intelligent, hopefully chat literate people to join ICE's Army. Joltman chose more delicately and trained various trustworthy (some semi-honest) people who, at that time, were regulars of good reputation. Joltman would recommend to Warp to op and soon enough The Leader of ICE reached the limit of ops (at that time was thirty total in Welcome!) All whom he was friends with and they all respected Joltman as their Leader and Teacher Of sorts. In his belated attempt to get rid of the sudden cloud hovering in Welcome!, The Leader of ICE soon lossed the war after a CT Villian (CT Powerful enough to do Actual damage to an op's status) started using Joltman's old mask. Ouija, who started talking with a SHADOW. The soon to be ex-Leader figured that the 'Ouija' was just playing around when he disconnected for a little bit to only return and see his opped handle scrolling
profanities and such in the default channel. The funny thing was that
the Villian somehow used Joltman's exact IP, Joltman figured it was the crazy 12 year old wannabe hacker from the same city where he lived in at that time, and used the same exact group of modem connections (or some program to manually alter your isp). Anyhow's Joltman personally contacted the 'boy's' "Father", and Joltman demanded the father to forbid his son from coming back to ICE, the young CT has been seen a couple of times, in which the Villian seemed to be very careful when around Joltman and the remains of the tattered Army of ICE.
The whole Incident caused the regulars and ops of ICE to
distrust Jotlman. They denied his repeated representation of all the good-natured intentions he had with ICE, but all in all Joltman was moving back to New Mexico anyways at that time, he'd just take a 2-3 month vacation, in which he did with occasional glimpses using Skippy's computer Joltman got the blunt idea that the most actively
vibrant op (whom reminded so much of himself) kinda took over the
political scene. Joltman chose to remove his op status except his
Slitar handle, which remained secret to the majority of ICE. Joltman hardly used Slitar unless he was in Welcome! to show the mistake of spreading unproven rumors. Joltman after FINALLY admitting political and militaristic defeat chose to take a vacation from it all. Joltman learned to chat without stressful thoughts of solving conflicts and banning isp's and kicking CT's. Joltman learned to talk to the newer generation of chatters and updated himself of the recent happenings. Once in a while, an op would remember his past, and criticize his rumored 'dishonest','immature', and'blind'past. He found it easy to ignore them all except the friends he met with Skippy in channel poptart ("The rumored sex channel"). Seeing the channel at all times of the day and in various connections and handles, Joltman did not once see anything that would prove that rumor....
Joltman soon enough got in touch with Warp and heard of the new changes that would happen within the year. Three months later Joltman
asked Warp to reop him in hopes of once again to build (from scratch)
respect from those who ended their friendship and/or trust because of
rumors. Joltman felt it as a good oppurtunity to also help bring out
the unrested conflicts amongst the ops and he will address the issue
more and more demandingly as the next month(s) go by.
Joltman continues to try to show LADY, that he was not against his best chosen op, but it took her a while to 'use understanding'. More conflicts were resolved since their renewed partnership together as semi-powerful channel ops. The most recent history of Joltman has been a daze of just warning people of the Great Openning and he then decided to start an informational, and partly profound thoughts in a Guide about ICE touching a variety of general subjects that deal with the complex life in the World of ICE. His first attempt of doing this failed, by wasting nine hours on a rough draft that just was full of grammatical errors, but in his second attempt, Joltman seems to be using more focused on selecting correct words. He will be distrubuting the Finaltext file as the first issue of his 'Joltman's Unofficial Guide to ICE' all those lucky to be on his contact list. That in all of Joltman's condensed history of himself, as told by the humble, shyguy behind the keyboard who works hard unloading trucks , living a bachelor life at age twenty-one, whom lives in the desert of Southwestern USA , in a city named Albuquerque
of New Mexico.

"The Great Opening"
______________________________________________________________________
The major threat happening in the not so far future isn't very
much terrible if acted upon quickly in preparing for it. PRoPHeT predicts that ICE will sometime in the next couple of months will expand drastically. PRoPHeT will continue his study of this periodic event that seems to happen in a patterned, or semi-patterned timing.
On other long talked of and awaited rumors of super ops and such, the event of that happening is a possibility when this Great Portal of Chaos is open.

Joltman plans to help prepare ALL REGULAR USERS of ICE for the prophesied event. He will be in Welcome! more often once this issue is fully prepared. His main message is to end the hatred among EVERYONE in ICE. Ops and others alike.
His message is to show and tell the People of ICE to start respecting the effort the ops put into channels like the default channel, Welcome!. With the sudden expansion if there is no respect with people whom already know ICE and it's rules on various permament channels, there will be no learned respect from the newer users. He's not trying to refer to the unopped users of ICE as pieces of a complex problem that actually started from his neglect of ICE in it's last deathly blow, Jan 97', which the server expanded without the Leader of ICE's knowledge and it happened during a week vacation while spending his time with his family and with his dad.
Joltman's message to the People of ICE further deals with the morals and ethics you show either if you are an op or other user of ICE. People of ICE will see you by how you act in chat. Be careful when reacting to directed feelings from words/things said/done by other ops/users. He wants you to learn how to control your judgement or the way you chat in general...being 'Representatives of SPiN' is to be displayed in a delicate way to show othes what is expected of People of Authority. Focus on enforcement morals in the particular chat (rules of cussing, cybersex, and plain harrasment). Enforcement doesn't merely end with a warning, a disciplinary action. It is only fully enforced if you teach the individual why it is wrong to do such and such thing in chat.
A good way to publically show your morals is to make goals of making amends with grudges, rumors, trash talk, and misunderstandings of unimportant matters in the eyes of un-opped people, the people concerned just want a clean chat in which they can come to and feel comfortable. If we ALL work together to save ICE from another patterned invasion of chaotic breed of chatters in which will at first find their first chatting experience to be only of a randomn spree of vulgar things, if all the People of ICE came there to chat with personal/interested topics with others, they will learn to talk in appropriate manners...thus hopefully allowing friendships and such to grow.

Rules Of SPiN On The Default Channel, Welcome!
______________________________________________________________________
For those newer chatters who are only little familiar with the
rules as enforced by Representatives of SPiN, this section will show
you how to abide/enforce when you are on the default channel. Channel
Welcome!, is monitored and have ops enforcing these specific rules.
The only true way for effective enforcement of such rules, is to have everyone have a clear understanding and an agreement of when to use disciplinary action to enforce them.
(ranked in order of of most important to enforce to least ......)
#1 No scrolling:It distracts and distorts present public texts and also lags users with a weak connections to ICE. No need to warn, the offender plans to be kicked out if there is an op there.
#2 Cussing in Welcome!:It is against the ethics SPiN originally founded ICE upon (Nice Clean Chat among Friends and curious bypassers). No need to warn for this, people whom cuss in Welcome! do not deserve to be there.
#3 Sexual Reference:in regards to the handle and/or text of users is
forbidden in the standards on which Welcome! was built upon (that's
why they give you the availability to creat temporary rooms)
#4 Advertising:for commercial based sites and such URL posts to
unethical or business engineered sites is not allowed (but don't
kick the user out), just inform politely as possible that their
advertisement is not accepted by SPiN's rules for cha
