I'm sure everyone by now knows of this SOPA/PIPA thing whatever the heck it's called (you better because I sure don't know much about it). You have no clue what I'm talking about? Google it then. Do I look like someone who keeps up with this stuff? (tomato in the face for the first smartass lol). Anywho, Wikkipedia was down because of it. Boo hoo for one day they were down. On the news and everywhere I read teenagers were complaining about how to do their homework.
.....
Seriously? Ever heard of something called a LIBRARY? Granted you do have to get off your lazy ass and make the trip to go visit one (OMG THE HORROR IKR!?) and read something called a book. Come on you know what I mean...those thingamajiggers with them pruddy covers (or not pruddy depending what you're reading) and they have stuff on these things called pages. No it's not called a font...though you'd be close! It's called text my print-media challenged friend. And while there is no "search box" on any of these pages you can use something called your eyes and that thing in your head called your brain (yes that thing you keep probing with your q-tip when you're cleaning the wax outta your ears) to find the information you so desperately desire.
I would probably sympathize with the majority of you if Wikkipedia was down for a week..a month. But for one day? Give me a break...this just shows how the young generation nowadays is way too reliant on digital media nowadays they go into a panic when it's not accessible. I always wonder the justification people have in voting to keep libraries operational yet nobody actually uses them.
