Today's sermon by Joel Osteen was about the times when God closes a door, like if someone dies, or you don't get a job or you lose a job, or a relationship ends, etc. His point was that God knows the bigger picture and things happen so that ultimately you will reach your destiny as long as you keep in faith. I think there is a bible passage about God's ways are not man's ways. I believe this is so, though the tough times can tend to make you forget that. If you believe you have a greater destiny and life purpose you have to believe this is so.
