I know y'all are as excited as me. I'm going to get a new hair cut. I'm stoked. New boots. New haircut. Baking in the sun for chunks of time. This is an awesome stay-cation.
I can see you in a spiked purple mohawk
Yes. That is exactly what I got.
Told ya I m psycho , I mean psychic
"Stay-cation" Or in British English, going on holiday in "Stoppatombe"! Glad you are having a good time.
Google won't serve me any pages containing "Stoppatombe". Hooray! F*ck you, Google!
Ahh. Well, what does Google know, anyway?
Important things that Google doesn't know - now that's what I call genuinely interesting information, genuinely "popular culture" unmediated by $$$, that which they can't stick advertisements on.
Heard a radio programme today about differential pricing, how prices that individuals are offered are increasingly being tailored according to the detailed knowledge the company has about them and about other people too. Experts appeared, intoning the word "algorithm" as if it explained so much, even if they seemed to be using it as a synonym for "formula". Who knows, perhaps that will be the big word of 2017? Google wasn't mentioned once. In 1960 if someone had made a programme about the future of computers, I reckon they wouldn't have avoided mentioning IBM. We live in such amazingly ignorant times. Another possibility they didn't raise or discuss was the unavailability of offers to those about whom the companies know little or nothing - those who don't have "smart" phones or don't use the CIA's "Facebook", for example. You could go from there to "no man might buy or sell, save that he had the mark". I could make some fucking great radio programmes
That seriously infuriates me, but soon, it will be about credit scores through iris scans at the checkout stand, or something. :(
Yes, or they will link bank cards to smartphones somehow.
It's called ipay. :\
Yikes! Does that read your fingerprint? How is the authentication done, other than by you being the person who is carrying the phone?
You just hold it up to the machine, and the machine communicates with your phone, accessing all of the debit and credit cards you've stored on your phone.
So if someone steals your phone, they can max out your cards so long as they do it before you report the loss? That's less secure than chip and PIN.
Well, if your phone isn't locked.
Plus I'd imagine you have to do the Touch ID or enter a pin for each use, I'd hope, anyhow.
I m inspired , think tomorrow I m manscaping .
What is manscaping?
Trimming body hair into pleasing shapes like dragons and such.
Kind of like a topiary but more fun .
Oh boy.... Hahaha.
